President Donald Trump visited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on Friday, reversing an earlier decision to scrap the trip.

Before leaving the White House, Trump signed an $8 billion spending bill to fight the coronavirus and told reporters that an individual at the CDC had tested negative for COVID-19, which was first identified in December in Wuhan, China. “They’ve tested the person very fully and it was a negative test,” he said.
