Fed Doing ‘Bare Minimum’ With Three 50Bps Hikes: BofA’s Harris

Bank of America Securities Head of Global Economics Ethan Harris says the half-point hikes supportedĀ in the minutesĀ of the Federal Reserve’s May 3-4 meeting are the “bare minimum” required to reach the central bank’s inflation target. “That gets them at least within the neighborhood of neutral,” Harris says on “Bloomberg Markets: The Close.”
